WoMEn Leaders
The Women Leaders Program is based on three fundamental pillars: ME as a Leader, ME as a Manager, and ME as a Change-maker. Launched in 2023 in partnership with Porto Business School, WoMEn Leaders stands as a pioneering initiative aimed at promoting the acceleration of leadership skills. Each year, the program focuses on training 70 high-potential women from diverse geographies and business sectors within the Group. These individuals with the aptitude to take on short to medium-term roles within this framework.
The program content is incorporated into eight subjects, amounting to a total of 56 hours of training. Align with our Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), the WoMEn Leaders initiative was officially introduced to the Mota-Engil Group on International Women's Day. The program has received numerous compliments, as a result of the recognized added value and notoriety perceived by employees concerning the course.
Our primary goal is to empower and amplify the representation of women in leadership roles, fostering an environment that promotes diversity and gender equality.

In 2023, we took significant strides by collaborating closely with local teams in each market. Understanding the unique realities of each region, these teams have developed customized action plans aimed at empowering local staff. Currently, these plans are being implemented and closely monitored to ensure their effectiveness.
