HR Technician m/f

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Technician to oversee and manage all human resources activities at our Wudil project location. The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR representative on-site, ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with company policies, and support to both management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for all HR-related matters at the Wudil location;
- Manage employee records, attendance, and timekeeping systems;
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation;
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies;
- Support disciplinary processes in line with company procedures;
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company regulations;
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR databases;
- Liaise with head office HR team on all HR operations and updates;
- Support payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits administration;
- Conduct regular HR visits to work fronts and address employee concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ HR experience, preferably in construction or project environments;
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage HR functions in a remote/project location;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
- High level of integrity and professionalism;
- Prior experience working in site-based/project environments;
- Familiarity with timekeeping and workforce management systems;
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
