How do I create/login into my account?

1. Go to "Profile".

2. Select "Create an Account".

3. Follow the prompts to complete the registration process.

If you already have an account, please go to "Profile".

Enter your credentials and click "Login".

If you are already a registered user, please log in to the system.

How do I apply for a position at ME?

To apply for a position at ME, please follow these steps:

1. Choose a job vacancy that matches your profile.

2. Click the "Apply" button.

3. Fill out the required fields in the application form.

4. Submit your application.

That's it! Your application will be submitted for review.

How do I edit my application?

To edit your application, log in to your account, navigate to the "My Applications" section, and select the application you wish to modify. You should see an option to edit or update your application details. Make your changes and save them before submitting.

How do I know if my application has been submitted?

After submitting your application, you should receive a confirmation email indicating that your submission was successful. Additionally, you can check the status of your application by logging into your account and viewing the "My Applications" section, where the status of your application will be displayed.

How do I update my email address in the system?

To update your email address, log in to your account and go to your profile settings. Find the section for contact information and update your email address. Save the changes to ensure your new email address is recorded.

How is an ME student program different from an ME internship?

The ME Student Program, which can be a Summer or Curricular Internship, is designed to provide short-term learning that combines academic knowledge with practical workplace experience. This program is ideal for undergraduate students, allowing them to apply the knowledge acquired during their studies. For recent graduates, the ME Internship offers a valuable opportunity to begin their careers with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge. The main difference between the two programs is the time commitment required. Please view the individual internship page you're interested in for details, including start dates.

Can I apply for an internship and a student program?

We recommend applying for the StartME internship if you have already graduated and are ready to start your career. If you're not yet familiar with ME or want a broader overview, consider applying for the LearnME student program. You can apply to either program, but we’re happy to understand your preferences to help you choose the best fit.

Will a student internship help me get a job at ME?

At ME, we highly value our interns and recognize their significant contributions. We are proud that an impressive 80-90% of our interns receive full-time offers each year. Ensuring a positive experience for our interns is a top priority and a key factor in shaping the future of Mota-Engil.

What is StartME?

StartME is a Mota-Engil trainee program dedicated to recent graduates! This year marks our 11th edition, offering over 260 global positions across 13 areas of study. Since its inception, Mota-Engil has welcomed 919 young professionals through this corporate program.

Why should I join a StartME Program?

Joining the StartME Program presents an exceptional opportunity for professional and personal growth. Participants gain hands-on experience in their field, access global positions across diverse areas of study, and build valuable networks. It's a great way to kickstart your career and build a future within the Mota-Engil Group.

What can I expect during the program?

If you thrive on challenges and get out of your comfort zone, StartME is the perfect program for you. You'll be able to develop and enhance your skills significantly, supported by a dedicated buddy throughout the process. Additionally, you'll have the chance to participate in creating new solutions for the Group's development, actively contributing to its growth and innovation.

When does the program begin?

The program begins in October. To stay informed about when applications open, please follow the official pages for updates.

When are applications for the program closed?

Applications close at the end of July. Please note that it is a lengthy recruitment process, so response times may be extended. However, feel free to inquire about the status of your application.

Is it a paid program?

Yes! It is a paid program. The ME invests in our young talents, offering compensation for the internship and a meal allowance. *Note: It is not an IEFP program.

How long does the program take?

The program spans 12 months. The first 3 weeks are exclusively dedicated to Onboarding, where we introduce our Group and its mission. The subsequent 11 months are focused on job training within your respective areas.

What do I need to apply?

To apply, you must have completed your degree by the program's start date and be under 30 years old.

Do I need professional experience to apply?

No! This program is ideal for those who want to gain experience and are just starting their careers.

Can I apply again if I already tried last year?

If you have already been through the recruitment process for StartME and did not pass, you can apply again!

LearnME

What is LearnME?

The LearnME program provides valuable practical experience for Undergraduate and Master's students through curricular internships or summer internships.

Our summer internship program is exclusively at Mota-Engil Engenharia and offers placements in Porto and Lisbon. Interns will immerse themselves in dynamic environments, contributing to meaningful projects.

Curricular internships are tailored to specific needs and may include diverse areas such as Engineering, Architecture, Communications and Marketing, Human Resources, Economics and Management.

Why should I join a LearnME Program?

Joining a LearnME Program allows you to prepare for the future, network with professionals, and gain valuable experience while you study. You'll have the opportunity to see firsthand how a large Group organizes and operates in its daily activities.

What can I expect during the program?

During the program, you can expect a dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a relatively short time. You will be immersed in practical learning experiences that will enhance your professional capabilities and prepare you for future career challenges.

When does the program begin?

The program does not have a fixed application deadline. If you are interested, you can send an email and submit your proposal. We will review it internally to determine if we can accommodate your request. However, our summer programs tend to start around that period. Follow the official pages for information on when applications open.

How long does the program take?

The duration of the program depends on your availability. It typically lasts 2 to 3 months and can be completed during the summer or at another time of the year.

Is it a paid program?

No, unfortunately, the program does not offer compensation.

Can I apply again if I already tried last year?

How can I join Mota-Engil?

You can join Mota-Engil through our Trainee Program, summer internship, multiple job vacancies, or by submitting a spontaneous application.

Can I apply to more than one job at a time?

Certainly, you are welcome to apply to multiple positions within your areas of specialization or interest. We will evaluate your applications and contact you to discuss where your profile fits better.

Which documents do I need to submit?

You will need to submit the documents specified for each position, in addition to completing the required fields in the application. Your CV is essential; if you wish to stand out, you may also submit a cover letter expressing your motivation.

Do you have some general application tips?

When it comes to applications, authenticity and a growth mindset are key factors that can make a significant difference. Showing a willingness to learn and grow demonstrates adaptability and openness to new challenges, qualities highly valued at Mota-Engil.

I have applied, but I'm still waiting to hear back. What should I do?

It is not uncommon to experience a longer waiting period after applying. However, you can always send an email to inquire about the status of your application whenever you'd like.

Why am I not qualified after completing the application?

There could be several reasons why you were not selected after completing the application. This does not mean you are not qualified. You can always reapply to other vacancies.
