DOCUMENT CONTROLLER 

 

 

Job Summary:

 

The Document Controller will be responsible for organizing, managing, and distributing documents related to projects while ensuring compliance with ISO standards. The Document Controller will collaborate closely with the project teams to support the smooth operation of document management systems and processes.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Receive, review, and distribute incoming documents related to the project.
  • Classify, index, and archive project documents to ensure easy retrieval and secure storage.
  • Monitor document revisions, ensuring version control and consistency across all project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the latest documents are accessible and accurately maintained.
  • Manage document workflows in compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Health and Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of document statuses, ensuring timely updates to the project team.
  • Ensure all documentation is managed efficiently and aligns with project timelines and quality standards.

 

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

 

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control and management, specifically in civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in document management software and systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards and their application in construction projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a project team
