Project Manager Mining (EN)

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and successful execution of mining projects, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, technical, operational, and quality requirements. The incumbent will lead the project team, coordinate all project activities, manage resources and interfaces, monitor project performance, and ensure effective communication with the client and internal stakeholders. The role will focus on maximizing project performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements and Competencies Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including relevant experience in project management within the mining industry, particularly in contract mining operations, preferably in open-pit mining;
- Knowledge and experience in contract management and execution, budget preparation, project planning, and risk management;
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan);
- Fluency in English (mandatory) and French (preferred);
- Strong communication skills;

- High level of rigor and reliability;
- Availability for mobility.
