Quality (QA/QC) Manager (m/f) EN
- The QA/QC Manager shall be responsible for the overall management, implementation, and monitoring of the Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems to ensure compliance with the Contract requirements, specifications, standards, and approved procedures;
- The QA/QC Manager shall develop, implement, maintain, and verify the effectiveness of the Project Quality Assurance Plan and all associated quality management procedures and controls;
- The QA/QC Manager shall advise Project management on quality-related matters, including quality performance, deficiencies, compliance issues, corrective actions, and improvement measures;
- The QA/QC Manager shall supervise and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control personnel assigned to the Project and shall ensure that such personnel are suitably qualified and competent;
- The QA/QC Manager shall interface with suppliers, subcontractors, laboratories, and consultants on all quality-related matters to ensure compliance with Project requirements and approved specifications;
- The QA/QC Manager shall coordinate quality activities with engineering, procurement, construction, and other Project departments to ensure that quality objectives and requirements are achieved;
- The QA/QC Manager shall supervise and participate in inspections, audits, testing, monitoring, and verification activities to confirm compliance with the Project Quality Assurance Plan and applicable standards;
- The QA/QC Manager shall identify, record, and monitor quality deficiencies and non-conformances and shall recommend and follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
- The QA/QC Manager shall represent the Project during quality audits and inspections conducted by management, the Employer, the Engineer, certification bodies, or governmental authorities;
- The QA/QC Manager shall maintain all quality records, reports, test results, and quality documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with the Contract and applicable standards.
Job Requirements and Skills Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
• Complementary training in Quality Management;
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in similar roles in construction/mining projects;
• Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards and Audits;
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Collaborative Platforms (preferred);
• Fluency in French and/or English (mandatory);
• Effective communication skills;
• Leadership;
• Planning and organization;
• Teamwork;
• Availability for mobility.
