Job Summary

Responsible for supervision of earthworks operations on the production site.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan & allocates site earthwork crews
• Perform detailed supervision, to ensure a quality installed scope of work that meets project specifications and procedures for all earthworks
• Liaise with the surveying team to ensure correct stouts for all works
• Responsible for monitoring contractors and site teams for competence in all aspects of installation and testing to meet the project specifications.
• Keep up to date the on review of Facilities and HES procedures.
• Responsible for the safety of all assigned employees and subcontractors to ensure the safe execution of all activities, including thrift adherence to company safety policies and programs.
• Monitor project labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment as work progresses and take necessary actions to control as he or she shall determine.
• Has accountability for schedule input and adherence, cost, quality, and project profitability.
• Support positive relationships with clients, designers, consultants and the community.
• Prepare and submit daily reports documenting Jobsite progress and conditions for payment purposes.
• Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, subcontractors, and inspection staff.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or in a related field or training/certificate with 10 years of experience in a related role will be considered in lieu of the required Diploma.
• 18 years of work experience in Civil works operations, project management in production, stock control, monthly, weekly and production planning, Advanced knowledge of surface mobile and civil equipment management.Advanced knowledge of tool & equipment safety.
• Capable of leading and managing craft and non-craft employees.
