Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing structural works on the Project.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and design stages of the projects.
- Perform due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.
- Oversee all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
- Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures for upgrades.
- Design and recommend improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.
- Perform cost estimations and prepare project budgets.
- Prepare work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
- Ensure that project works are completed on time and within budget.
- Inspect completed works for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
- Document processes and present project progress updates to senior managers and clients.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in civil engineering or in a related field.
- 10 years of proven work experience with professional knowledge in Civil construction management, rehabilitation and urban and regional planning.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
