BULLDOZER OPERATOR

Job Summary

The Bulldozer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bulldozer equipment to support earthmoving, grading, clearing, and other construction activities on project sites.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with project requirements and safety procedures.
• Carry out excavation, grading, leveling, backfilling, and site clearing activities as instructed.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical faults or defects.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and ensure the equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Follow site plans, supervisor instructions, and operational guidelines during earthworks activities.
• Ensure safe maneuvering of equipment around workers, structures, and other machinery on site.
• Monitor fuel, oil, and hydraulic levels and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete daily equipment and activity logs accurately.
• Adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Be willing to work at multiple project sites and under varying weather conditions.

Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• Certificate or formal training in heavy equipment operation from a recognized institution.
• Valid heavy vehicle driving license.
• Must have an Engineering Plant Class permit/license.
• At least 2–3 years of experience operating bulldozers in civil works, road construction, or related construction projects.
• Good understanding of earthmoving operations, grading techniques, and site safety practices.
• Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and routine equipment maintenance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong safety awareness and discipline.
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to demanding site conditions.
