Human Resources Officer (m/f)

To support mining operations in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, Mota-Engil is sourcing human resources talent.

  • Educational Background: University Degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or a relevant social sciences/business field.
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Human Resources or Personnel Administration.
  • Primary Function: Manage daily personnel administration, ensure strict labor compliance, execute local recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations workflows.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of human resource principles, personnel administration, and employee relations practices.
  • Capable of interpreting and enforcing labor contracts, company policies, and organizational procedures.
  • Solid understanding of talent acquisition and local community hiring.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (specifically Excel and Word for reporting and data analytics).

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must fulfill the following organizational and statutory requirements:

  • Must be a current resident of Ethiopia. Willingness to work on-site in the Benishangul-Gumuz region.
  • Full bilingual proficiency in Amharic and English.
  • Proven teamwork skills, high confidentiality, and a hardworking professional ethos.
