Drill&Blast Engineer (m/f) EN 

 

 

 

Ensuring the management and optimisation of the mine's Drill & Blast operation in real time, namely: supervising the performance control systems of the mine's equipment, ensuring their operation; Controlling the various variables in the loading, transport and drilling process; Monitoring and controlling the team's performance indicators; Providing support in the analysis of the geological model and reserve; Ensuring the planning of the activities underlying the mining operation, monitoring data and proposing process improvements.

 

Job Requirements and Competencies Profile

 

  • University degree in Mining Engineering, Geotechnics or Geology;
  • At least 5/10 years' professional experience in mining or large-volume rock blasting, preferably in an open-cast mine;
  • Proficiency in Office tools and software used in mining (Vulcan; Surpac; Autocad; Opit-Blast; ArcGis);
  • Fluent in English;
  • Communication skills;
  • Leadership;
  • Planning and Organisation;
  • Analysing and solving problems;
  • Availability for mobility.
