Senior Planning Engineer (m/f) (EN)

Monitoring the work, planning and controlling it in terms of deadlines, as well as collaborating in the preparation of work plans, in accordance with superiors' guidelines and in coordination with the production team and the technical and legal requirements defined, in order to contribute to the achievement of the established objectives, guaranteeing the execution of the work in accordance with the legal requirements defined and with the stipulated deadline.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing the work program, including necessary updates, recording progress and dealing with possible claims relating to deadlines. He/She will work closely with the production team to communicate and ensure that milestones are met and that production is recorded and reported effectively to both the client and the internal team. He/She will coordinate the other members of the planning team and report directly to the project manager.

Job Requirements and Competencies Profile

•  Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred);
•  At least 10 years' professional experience in a similar role;
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Primavera P6 (mandatory);
•  Experience in coordinating a planning and control team;
•  Direct contact with the client to discuss progress and possible complaints;
•  Proficiency in English and French (preferred);
•  Proficiency in Portuguese (preferred);
•  Planning and organising;
•  Rigor and reliability;
•  Teamwork;
•  Mobility availability.
