To ensure all tasks leading to efficient management and maintenance of equipment at workshop level: planning, allocation of technical and human resources, stock control, technical assistance, compliance with safety rules, including for equipment operational management: document management, cost control, drafting of reports to assist in management and training. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all plant equipment and systems. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environme

 

 

Job Requirements and Competencies Profile

 

 

  • Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering or similar;
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in management and maintenance of public works equipment, quarries or mines;
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; 
  • Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices; 
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office and SAP (preferred);
  • Fluency in French and/or English language;
  • Planning and Organization;
