ELECTRICIAN FOREMAN_m/f (UG) 

Job Summary

The Electrician Foreman will be responsible to ensure planning, laying out, installing, and wiring electrical components are completed, as per project drawings, and specifications and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations.
• Lead a team of electricians at the project
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance;
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair, electrical and low voltage control systems and other related devices.
• Arrange and coordinate safety meetings.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to technicians.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also by reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to the immediate supervisor.
• Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician Foreman in a construction industry
• Licensed as a professional engineer.
• Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
• Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.
